AFTER months of preparation and work, the 2017 Dalby Show is only a few sleeps away.

This year's show is looking forward to big crowds, more action and plenty of fun for all.

The Dalby Show Committee has been focused on providing new and exciting entertainment for show- goers.

Show committee member Graham Bradford said the show has grown since last year.

"There is a lot more in entertainment than we have had in previous years,” Mr Bradford said.

"We have the ute show and the smash-up derby and there is also a lot more machinery .

"I think the show is probably about 15-20% bigger than last year.”

A larger Trade Display Shed will be exhibited this year, as well as the return of the once-famous pig racing.

The Talent Quest is on as well, so those who wish to enter their special talent still have time to register at the show office.

The Dalby Show has also catered for the younger members of the family, says show committee member Nicole Collins.

"It is a bigger side show alley this year and we also have the kids zone, which is designated for the younger kids this year,” Mrs Collins said.

"It also takes the pressure off the parents, because the kids can sit down and play.”

The Dalby Show will be on this Friday and Saturday at the Dalby Showgrounds.
