Coomalie Holding Depot is a pre-export quarantine facility located 25km north of Adelaide River on the Stuart Highway and within an hour from Palmerston and Darwin. The family company is integrated with Victoria River Veterinary Services and Waterloo Station NT.

They require an assistant livestock manager to work closely with the team, the live exporter and visiting overseas clients.

You will be required to complete day to day management of CHD including but not limited to:

• Knowledge of the Australian Standards for the Export of Livestock (ASEL) as well as develop importing country requirements

• Effective communication within the industry and sound written communication skills to prepare correspondence and reports

• Manage and complete loading and unloading of trucks as well as weighing, drafting, tagging, dipping and feeding cattle

Davenport Downs, 355km south-west of Winton, QLD have a position available for an energetic cook to start the season in February 2018.

You would be cooking a variety of nutritious and hearty meals for breaky, smoko, lunch and dinner for 12-15 people. They value cleanliness, good food hygiene and good organisation just as much as the ability to cook a decent meal.

The airconditioned station kitchen is kept in top working order with great facilities. As an important part of the stock camp team, you'd travel out to camp with our crew when they are mustering. Each of our fully enclosed permanent camp kitchens are decked out with stainless steel benchtops, fridge, mobile freezer and gas stoves. Camp oven cooking is welcome if you prefer.

Accommodation at the station is away from the kitchen and is in an air-conditioned unit, with double bed and your own bathroom, washing machine, lounge, kitchenette and dining area.

Nanny needed for a family in the heart of the outback.

Ooraminna Station in the Northern Territory, near Alice Springs is looking for a nanny to help with three children under 10 years old.

Applicants must have:

·Experience with teaching primary aged children


·Residency or working visa

Applicants must have experience working with primary aged children. Applicant must be tidy and willing to pitch in all areas of domestic life.

Applicant must be flexible and happy to occasionally travel with the family to NT stock camps that we manage and school of the air annual camps.

A love of horses, cattle, goats, motorbikes and feeding animals, checking waters etc (these are included as jobs for the kids) is helpful.

All living expenses, board and keep are included. Commute from Alice Springs is possible at your own expense (30km)

Wage is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Farrcombe Contracting is now recruiting for the 2018 season.

Farrcombe Contracting is based near Katherine NT. They use horses and bikes for mustering and camp out all year.

All meals are supplied. Pay depends on each individual's skills and experience.

The season normally starts around March but could be earlier or later depending on the rain. Season normally finishes Nov/Dec.

Applicants require some cattle experience and must be competent on horse or two-wheeler.

Couples are welcome to apply. Own horses/dogs/bikes are welcome but must comply to camp rules.

RC Contract Mustering Team looking for workers in 2018.

Work from start of April to early November.

 Looking for competent motorbike riders or people willing to learn.

Owning your own bike is an extra payment on top of daily wage.

However, if you don't own a motorbike one would be supplied for you.
