DETAILS: Emergency services rush to Dalby structure fire
A MINOR structure fire in Dalby sent emergency services rushing to a Nicholson Street address overnight.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman confirmed emergency services responded to a call at 7.50pm that a fireplace had gotten out of control.
Two fire crews along with paramedics and police responded, and the spokeswoman said the fire was contained shortly after their arrival with the last truck leaving at 9.15pm.
One male patient was assessed for superficial burns.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman said the man elected to transport himself to hospital.
